Refund policy
We accept returns only in cases where the product received is damaged, defective, incorrect, or of the wrong size (i.e., not the size originally ordered). At present, we do not offer returns or refunds for any other reasons. A full replacement will be provided for eligible cases.
- To qualify for a return or replacement: The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt or proof of purchase. As all products undergo strict quality checks before packing and dispatch, no returns or exchanges will be accepted except under the conditions mentioned above.
- Reporting Issues: Any issue must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. Complaints will only be considered if supported by a 360° parcel opening video. The video must be unedited, uncut, and continuous, starting from before the package is opened, clearly showing the shipping label and address details, and must visibly capture the issue or defect with proper lighting.
- Minor Defects: Minor manufacturing defects, such as loose threads, do not qualify the product for return/replacement.
- Colour Variations: Slight colour difference may occur due to lighting and screen variations.
In case of return/exchange we do not offer a pickup facility. The parcel has to be sent by the customer to our address.
Free replacement will be provided within 7 days if the product is delivered in defective/damaged condition or if it differs from the ordered item. Otherwise, return or replacement will not be available.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery and contact us without delay if the item is defective, damaged, or if you have received the wrong product. This allows us to promptly evaluate the issue and take appropriate action to resolve it.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you receive the desired product is to return the item you have received (if eligible) and, once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.
Refunds & Cancellations
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return or cancellation request, and inform you whether it has been approved or not. If approved, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original method of payment. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and reflect the refund in your account.
Saree – Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges for sarees can be complex; however, we strive to provide the highest quality products to minimize the need for returns or exchanges. In case a defect is reported, our team will conduct a thorough quality check. If the product is found to be defective, the full cost of the product along with applicable shipping charges will be refunded.
Certain characteristics are inherent to sarees and are not considered defects. These include minor knots or bumps in the threads that occur when broken threads are joined, uneven threads connecting the border to the body, slubs (small bundled threads), minute gaps around motifs, dye transfer onto the pallu from the body (commonly seen in power loom sarees), and loose threads in Bandhani sarees due to the tying and dyeing process. Additionally, slight variations in color may occur due to differences in screen settings across devices. While we make every effort to display the most accurate colors, we recommend contacting our team for clarification if you have any concerns regarding the color of a product before purchase.
Defects Eligible for Return
The following issues are considered valid defects and are eligible for return or exchange: a tear in the saree, incorrect length (different from what was specified), or a missing blouse piece (if it was mentioned that the saree includes one).

Return & Exchange Process
You may return an eligible item in exchange for store credit or opt for an exchange with the same product or another product of equal or higher value. To initiate a return, you must email us at kalpakaonline@gmail.com with your concern within 3 days of receiving the product. Once we confirm your request, the product must be shipped back to us within 7 days from the date of delivery. If you have any concerns regarding the return timeline or process, you are encouraged to contact us via email for assistance.
For international orders, return shipping charges must be borne by the customer. Additionally, any customs duties or charges applicable on returned shipments will also be the responsibility of the buyer.
